If we want to grow them without their season that means, before their season, we can vernalize them by exposing them to the low temperature. This will also enhance seed production in flowers.
The reversal of this process can be called devernalization. That means when we expose the plants to high temperature, we can delay the flowering in plants and also the seed production. This treatment is brought after cold treatment.
For example- the onion we eat is exposed to low and high temperatures. Before planting onions are made to devernalize to enlarge the bulb, they do not require making flowers.
