Hint: Canine teeth are not present in rabbits. So, they possess a void place in between their premolar and incisor teeth. It is known as a diastema.

Complete step-by-step answer:
Teeth are the calcified, hard structure that is found in many vertebrate organisms and in jaws. Teeth are used mainly in the breakdown of food. Several carnivorous animals use their teeth in scavenging or for any other defenses. There is a special kind of gum by which the teeth roots remain attached to the muscle in the mouth.
Teeth of the rabbit are generally cylindrical in structure and possess a curve that is produced naturally from their birth. Two types of curve are found- one is buccal and another is lingual. In the maxillary cheek, the occlusal place curves buccally and in the mandibular cheek, the occlusal place curves lingually. There are some open apices that are known as a radicular pattern. The enamel is formed from the germinal tissue that is present in tooth apices. Enamel remains pigment-free and thus their teeth remain white all the time. The dental formula for a rabbit is I 2/1, C0/0, P3/2, and M3/3.
Hence Option C: 28 is the correct answer.

Note: 32 teeth are present in a normal adult human being whereas 24 teeth are present in the children who are 8 to 10 years old. This time molars begin to produce in the back portion of the mouth.
