So, we will firstly open the brackets.
(-172) + (-40) + 5 + (-425) + (-275) + 600 – (-15)
= -172 – 40 + 5 – 425 – 275 + 600 + 15
Now, we will segregate the positive integers and the negative integers.
= (-172 – 40 – 425 – 275) + (5 + 600 + 15)
Now, we will add the integers.
= (-212 – 700) + (605 + 15)
= -912 + 620
Now, we will perform subtraction.
= -912 + 620
= -292
So, the answer to this question is (d) -292.
