Hint – Use the formula surface area of cube $ = 6{a^2}$, equate it to 900 to find the value of the side of the cube. And then use the formula of volume of cube $ = {a^3}$.
Complete Step-by-Step solution:
Given in the question the surface area of the cube is 900 cm2.
Now using the formula of surface area of cube $ = 6{a^2}$.
Put the surface area as 900 cm2, we get-
$
  900 = 6{a^2} \\
   \Rightarrow {a^2} = \dfrac{{900}}{6} = 150 \\
  \therefore a = 12.25cm \\
 $
Now finding the volume using the formula, volume $ = {a^3}$, we get-
$V = {a^3} = {12.25^3} = 1838.27c{m^3}$
Therefore, the volume of the cube is 1838.27 cm3.
Note – Whenever such types of questions appear then write down the things given in the question. And then use the formula of surface area to find the value of side and then put the value of side in the formula of volume to find the volume of the cube.
