Penis: The penis is a muscular tubular organ made of loose tissue with spaces in between. This is called erectile tissue. When stimulated, the erectile tissue fills with blood, making the penis erect and tense, allowing it to penetrate the female vagina and discharge semen. Urethra: Male urethra provides a common pathway for the flow of urine and semen. It is much longer male than females.
Ureter: The ureter of each kidney exits the renal pelvis at the site of hilum. Each ureter is a narrow, whitish, tubular structure that runs along the abdominal wall, opening the bladder. The ureter consists of transitional epithelium. It carries urine from the kidneys to the bladder.
