Hint: Arthropods are invertebrates, mostly involving insects and crustaceans. They have a ladder-like a paired nervous system, with paired ventral nerve cords.

Step by step answer:The nervous system of arthropods consists of a dorsally located brain and a ventral ganglionated longitudinal nerve cord, which is primitively paired, lateral nerves arise from it and extend to each segment. This system of organization is similar to that of Annelids, from which arthropods are thought to have evolved. Phylum Annelida consisting of segmented worms such as earthworms possess a ventral nerve cord with a pair of ganglia, with transverse nerves extending from each ganglion to sensory structure and muscles. Which is almost closely similar to the arrangement of the nervous system in arthropods.
Mollusca- The phylum consists of a tetra-neural nervous system, with most ganglia coming in pairs and connected by lateral connections, which can be seen in animals such as snails.
Platyhelminthes- The phylum which consists of flatworms has a nervous system arrangement with an anterior bilobed brain, from which nerve cords are extended to different directions.
Coelenterata- This phylum consists of a nerve net, which at certain points form a nerve plexus with circular or longitudinal nerve tracts as in Sea urchins.
Thus Option A is the correct answer, the Arthropod nervous system closely follows the nervous system of Annelids.

Note:Kingdom Animalia consists of ten phyla, in which all the phylum consists of multicellular eukaryotic organisms having a heterotrophic mode of nutrition. The different phyla coming under the kingdom are Porifera, Coelenterata, Platyhelminthes, Nematoda, Annelida, Arthropoda, Mollusca, Echinodermata, Hemichordata, Vertebrata.
