Hint: As we have given the length and breadth of a playground so using that we can find the perimeter of a playground and Raju wants to go around the boundary once so the perimeter of a playground is the required meter he has to run. As in order to walk around the ground, Raju has to complete its perimeter
And it is calculated by \[2\left( {l + b} \right)\].

Complete step by step solution: Given: length of a playground is 200 meter and the breadth is 150 meter
Perimeter of rectangle \[ = 2\left( {l + b} \right)\]
On substituting the value of l and b we get,
\[ = 2\left( {200 + 150} \right)\]
On solving the bracket we get,
\[ = 2\left( {350} \right)\]
On multiplication we get,
\[ = 700\]m

Thus, Raju has to run 700m.

Note: Raju wants to go around the playground so we calculate the perimeter because the perimeter is a length of the outline of a shape.
Many times the same question can be asked as Raju wants to go around the boundary twice, thrice or n number of times’ in such case we will simply multiply Perimeter of the rectangle with the number of rounds given in the question in order to get the required answer.
