Hint: It is a group of cells that present in a highly organized manner in multicellular organisms.

Complete answer:
A tissue is a group of cells that has a similar origin, structure, and function. A similar origin means that they are resulting from the same layer of cells in the embryo. Due to common origin, there are similarities in their structure and hence perform similar functions. Many cells combine together to form the tissues and these tissues collectively combine to form organs and then to a living body.
There are four basic types of tissues in animals that include epithelial, muscle, connective, and nervous tissue.
Each tissue has a particular role in the body:
> Epithelial tissue:
- The cells making these tissues are closely packed and there is no intracellular space between them.
- This type of tissue covers the body surface and lines body cavities.
- Some epithelial tissues help in the absorption of water and nutrients and also perform secretion of a variety of substances including sweat, saliva, mucus, etc.
> Connective tissue:
- These tissues are fibrous tissue that is made up of extracellular matrix.
- This tissue gives shape to organs and holds them in place.
- Examples of connective tissue include blood, bone, tendon, ligament, adipose, and areolar tissues.
> Muscular tissues:
- Muscular tissues are made up of long excitable cells.
- These tissues perform the movements within internal organs as well as many other contractile functions.
> Nervous tissue:
- Nervous tissues consist of two types of cells i.e. neurons and neuroglia cells.
- These tissues provide rapid internal communication by generating electrical impulses.

So, the correct answer is ‘Tissues’.

Note:
- In plants, tissues are categorized into the epidermis, the ground tissue, and the vascular tissue.
- Meristematic tissue is also found in plants that consist of actively dividing cells. It leads to an increase in the length and thickness of the plant.
