Complete answer:
Mohenjodaro is one of the World's Earliest major cities. It is located on the side of the Indus River in Larkana, Sindh, Pakistan. Mohenjodaro has a planned layout with rectilinear buildings. In 1950, Sir Wheeler recognised one large building in Mohenjodaro as the " Great Granary", close to the Great Granary is a large and elaborate public bath or tank sometimes called " The Great Bath".

The Great Bath was built in the 3rd millennium BC. It is located on the citadel mound. From a colonised courtyard, steps lead to the Brick Built Pool from two sides which measured 39ft in length, 23ft in breadth and 7.9ft depth. It was lined with bricks, varnished with plaster and made water-tight with a layer of natural tar. Its main aims included being used for purifying the Brahmans and other royal members of the king's family on some special religious days. It denied access to the poor and other people who were considered impure.
