The Kagodu movement was the first peasant movement. Farmers have been the backbone of the nation but facilities provided to them are not enough. Farmers are sometimes in helpless situations where they do not get enough prices for their produce. They remain mostly on mercy of rain when even governments do not support them they choose the path of agitation. They keep on fighting for their rights.
