Complete answer: Atala Mosque was built by a Shaqi ruler, Ibrahim Shah Sharqi in 1408 A.D. It was built on the destroyed remains of a Hindu temple which is still visible in the present structure. Earlier Atala Devi temple was built by King Vijay Chandra. this temple was located near Atala Masjid but later destroyed by Ibrahim brother of Sultan Firoz Shah Tughlaq III as it was demolished in 1364 CE e and then Ibrahim ki completed the most in 1408 CE.
