Hint: The air we breathe is oxygen as oxygen is the highest amount of air present in the atmosphere. Being the air that is mostly needed by all organisms. Especially mammals, but plants exert oxygen as they take up carbon dioxide for all their processes to happen. As the human body respires oxygen so, this co- relationship between plants and animals is way back from history.
a) Oxygen- one of the crucial gases in the environment is oxygen and it is an abundant gas too after nitrogen. Mammals breathe air oxygen using their lungs. All mammals have lungs. Lungs are used to inhale fresh air filled with oxygen to fuel the mammal’s body.
So, option A is incorrect.
b) carbon-dioxide- the air we mammals breathe out is nothing but carbon-dioxide which gets mixed up in the environment and later taken up by plants for their photosynthesis and other chemical processes. Human body does not require much carbon-dioxide as blood transports mostly oxygen and it carries carbon-dioxide seventy percent in the form of bicarbonate.
So, option B is correct.
c) water- water is the most abundant liquid which is vital as oxygen to living beings. Water is a medium which gets directly mixed in blood and gives texture to the blood as blood is itself a liquid medium which comprises seventy percent of water. Water is not a gas as we know hence it cannot be expired out of the body.
Option C is incorrect.
d) Chlorophyll- chlorophyll is a plant pigment which imparts color to the plant body and its cells. Chlorophyll as the name says is found mostly in leaves which provide pigment as said. Chlorophyll is not found in animals or any organisms except for the plant body. Chlorophyll bearing cells are called chloroplast which are also found only in plant cells not in animal cells.
Option D is not correct.

So, Option B is the correct answer.

Note:
As we discussed mammals breathe in and out from lungs. Respiration is the process where exchange of gases takes place in the body. It ensures the tissues, cells and major organs of the body receive adequate amounts of oxygen and that carbon-dioxide is a waste to the body it is efficiently removed. The exchange of oxygen and carbon-dioxide occurs via diffusion across cell membranes.
