Hint:Three of the world's great monotheistic religions are Islam, Judaism and Christianity. Many of the same holiest places, such as Jerusalem, and prophets, such as Abraham, are exchanged. Collectively, scholars refer to these three religions as the Abrahamic faiths, because it is assumed that in the creation of these religions, Abraham and his family played vital roles. The followers of the religion follow the manners given by the prophet.

Complete answer:
Islam is one of the oldest and biggest religions of the world. The religion was initiated by the respected prophet, Muhammad of Arabia in the 7th century CE. The concept of Islam revolves around the term ‘Islam’ which means “surrender, in this scenario, surrender to Allah.
Allah is the sole god of this religion even though he is portrayed as a prophet. He is believed to be the one who creates and restores the world surrounding us. The religion politely demands submission of self to Allah through prayers and the knowledge acquired from the sacred scriptures of the Quran. The verses in Quran are believed to be the scriptures which Allah revealed to his messenger, Muhammad. In Islam, Muhammad is considered the last of a series of prophets (including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Solomon, and Jesus), and his message simultaneously consummates and completes the “revelations” attributed to earlier prophets.
Before Islam became a major religion, sunnah was the term used to indicate "manner of acting", whether good or bad. When Islam started the term became the representation of good deeds and good precedent set by people of the past, including both Muhammad and his followers. The sunnah of Muhammad represent his specific words of wisdom, adaptive habits of faith, practices of religion and silent approvals In Islam. The word "sunnah" is also used to refer to religious duties that are optional, such as Sunnah salat.

Hence, the correct answer is option (D).

Note:The authority of the Sunnah was further reinforced when Muslim scholars founded the science of assessing the authenticity of individual traditions in response to the wholesale fabrication of hadiths by proponents of different doctrinal, legal and political positions ('ilm al-'adīth). The Sunnah was then used in (tafsīr (Qur'anic exegesis)) as the basis of legal judgments not discussed in the Qur'an to complement the interpretation of the text and in (fqih (Islamic jurisprudence)).
