• By educating the members of the locality regarding the availability of several disposal methods for degradable and non-degradable wastes in order to reduce pollution.
• By giving explanation in regard to the importance of shredding plastic waste and using suitable alternatives.
• By preparing compost pits using biodegradable or organic wastes of household and convincing the RWA (Resident Welfare Associations) or local area communities to make use of this manure for gardens in colony parks and also in plant pots kept in individual houses to enrich the soil.
