This process of rainwater harvesting involves the collection of water and its storage with the help of artificial design systems that naturally runoff or the man-made areas like the rooftop, rock surface, compounds, hill slopes, artificially repaired semi pervious or impervious land surface. There is a scarcity of good quality of water these days, which has become a significant concern. Rainwater is the purest form of water and of good quality which is used for irrigation, cooking, cleaning, washing, and bathing and for other livestock requirements.
