As we know a lens is made up of two curved surfaces. These curved surfaces can be either concave or convex surfaces. Now, when both the surfaces are of the same kind and have the same focal length, then they both together form an equi-convex or equi-concave lens. Also, for such lenses, the first and second given principal focus will be at the same distance from the given optical centre.
Therefore we can say that a lens is called an equi-convex or equi-concave when the radii of curvature of the two surfaces of the lens are equal.

As we know a mirror is defined as a device that contains a surface, which is mainly used to reflect light. As mirrors do not usually absorb much light, most of the light is redirected. The mirror and the object's overall quality is generally preserved in the new image.
In the given figure, the shaded portion is not used to reflect light.
