Hint: Simon de Monfort set up the first Parliament in the year 1265. He was also the leader of the Albigensian Crusade Movement. He was the leader of the group who fought a War between the year 1264 to 1267

Complete answer:
Simon de Monfort was born in the year 1208 in French. He came to England in the year 1230 and there he received a piece of land from King Henry III. King Henry was of the same age-group of Monfort so they started sharing a mutual bond of friendship. He then married Henry's little sister Eleanor of England and became the Chief advisor of Henry's court.
Simon de Monfort was the Leader of Barons. Barons were the people who used to give their land to the king of their country, despite giving them to their heirs. Monfort found this practice illegal, so he raised his voice against it and soon became the Leader of Barons. He was the man with a vision, and so according to him, the king must be accountable to the peoples and their lands. He raised his voice in front of King Henry that those people who gave their piece of land to him should be allowed to ask questions about it. These arguments heated up and it led to a war in between the forces of barons headed by Simon de Monfort and King Henry. The central demand of the group of barons was that the king should hire these barons as his Council of Ministers and should fire the old ones. The other cause of this War was the increase in the anti-Jewish beliefs in England.
So, the correct answer is Option B.

Note: In the Revolt of London held in 1263, Montfort captured King Henry, but later he escaped from prison. Again in the year 1264, Montfort defeated King Henry in the Battle of Lewes. After winning, he waved off all the debts of Jews.
