Hint: Seasons are the divisions in the year that occur depending on the tilted axis and revolution of the earth which results on weather change, ecological changes and duration of daya and night of a particular region. The tilt of the axis of the earth also is responsible for the experiencing of opposite seasons in Northern and Southern Hemispheres.

Complete Answer:
Seasons are the different periods of a year that are distinguished depending upon the weather conditions. Earth experiences four distinguished seasons which are spring, summer, autumn/fall and winter that exhibit their unique weather conditions according to which ecological changes take place.
Spring season is a season between the harsh cold winter and warm summer. It exhibits the gradual temperature rise. In the Northern Hemisphere it extends from the end of March (20/21st that is the vernal equinox) to the end of June (21st/22nd that is summer solstice). And in the Southern Hemisphere the spring season extends from the end of September to the end of December.
Summer Season is the warmest season of the year. The places experiencing summer season have high temperatures and experience heavy rainfall in quite some places. In the Northern Hemisphere, summer season starts from the June 21 or 22 counting from the summer solstice and ends in the end of September (22 or 23) at the autumnal equinox. Whereas, in the Southern Hemisphere the summer season starts from the end of December and continues upto March.
Autumn or fall season is between summer and winter. During this time of the year the temperature generally decreases. The autumn season is known as the fall season as trees shed their leaves particularly in the temperate regions. In the Northern Hemisphere, the autumn season starts at the end of September marking the autumnal equinox or continues up to the winter solstice at the end of December. While in the Southern Hemisphere, it starts at the end of March and continues upto the end of June.
Winter Season is the season when there prevails extreme cold in the temperate region and the tropical parts experience cool climate. In the Northern Hemisphere, the winter season starts at the end of December with the mark of winter solstice (December 21 or 22) and ends with the mark of spring equinox on March 20 or 21. Whereas in the Southern Hemisphere it starts from the end of June and continues upto the end of September.
Hence, the correct answer id option B, 4.

Note: The change in the weather conditions are witnessed maximum in the tropical and temperate regions where the sun’s rays are somewhat inclined. In the equator, straight sun’s rays fall upon making the place warm throughout and at the polar regions very much slanted rays fall that make the regions extremely cold throughout the year.
