Hint: Rao Gopal Singh was one of the leaders of Rajasthan who supported the national movements against Britishers in India. He was one of the revolutionary leaders from Rajasthan.

Complete answer:
The full name of Rao Gopal Singh was Rao Gopal Singh Kharva. Arya Samaj had greatly influenced Rao Gopal Singh during his lifetime. He was intimately associated with the revolutionary movement in Rajasthan which was a part of the National Movement against the Britishers.

One time, two other revolutionaries Ras Bihari Bose and Sachindra Nath Sanyal planned for an armed revolution against Britishers in Northern India. He joined them for the same. However, the information of their movement was disclosed by one of the insiders which led to trouble for them and thus their plan was not executed.

He, being the landlord of Kharva (somewhere in the Ajmer Merwara region) was asked to leave Kharva. He was kept under the surveillance of police in Todgarh but he escaped from there. Thereafter, he was confined in Tihar jail in Delhi.

Rao Gopal Singh was confined to Tihar jail. Therefore, Option A is the correct answer.

Note:
He was a fierce patriot, nationalist, generous as well as sacrificing ruler. He had formed allies with the freedom fighters against the Britishers, both regionally as well as nationally. He had come together with others in the past and had undertaken acts of revolts such as assassinating the then Viceroy, Lord Hardinge. He and his ancestors are believed to have been generous rulers who were sincerely dedicated to their motherland and he is still offered prayers in the Kharva region.
