Hint: There are two types of changes which take place around us in the day to day life these are physical and chemical changes. There are numerous examples of such changes happening around us in our day to day course of life.
Complete answer:
During the formation of the rain the water from the ground in the form of the water vapours reaches to the atmosphere and condenses there and the rain is formed which is precipitated from the clouds in the form of the rain droplets. Thus in the formation of the rain one form the water from one state to another changes into another state and the process is reversible in nature since the water which falls on the surface during the rain is evaporated back to the atmosphere during the day in the presence of the sunlight. Thus it is a physical change in nature.
Physical changes affect the chemical form of the substance but not the composition of the chemical form. These changes are used to separate the mixture into their component compounds but such changes cannot separate them into individual components. No new substance is formed in these changes. The cyclic process is followed in between the products and the reactants.
The physical changes involve the change in the physical properties including the colour, melting point, boiling point etc. No chemical changes in the composition occur.
Thus option B is the correct answer.
Note:
Rain water harvesting is a very important phenomenon in nature used for the conservation of the water as a modern method for the sustainable development of the nation using it in such a way so that they last for a longer time.
