Hint: Intestinal villi are defined as tiny, finger-like projections that project into the lumen of the small intestine. Length of each villus is measured approximately 0.5-1.6 mm.

Complete answer:
Let us find out details about each layer
Serosa: It is referred to as the outermost layer of the alimentary canal. It is made composed of a thin mesothelium with some connective tissue.
Muscularies: It is developed by smooth muscles usually arranged into an inner circular and outer longitudinal layer.
Sub-Mucosa: It is made up of loose connective tissues constitute nerves, blood and lymph vessels
Mucosa: It is defined as the innermost layer which covers the lumen of the alimentary canal from oesophagus to rectum rectum.
Villi: Mucosa layer gives rise to irregular folds termed as rugae in the stomach and small finger-like folding’s called villi in the small intestine.

Now let us find solution from given options:
Crypts of Lieberkuhn : Paneth cells are observed as granulated epithelial cells that are located in the base of the crypts of the small intestine. They play an important function in the body's innate immunity.
Peyer's patches : These are phagocytic cells that are present in liver sinusoids which play a role in the breakdown of the red blood cells. They also play an important function in protecting the liver from bacterial infections.
Islet of Langerhans : Beta cells are present in islets of Langerhans in the pancreas that synthesise, store, and release the hormone insulin. When the glucose levels in the blood are high either physiologically (e.g. during digestion), beta cells respond by synthesising the hormone insulin which was stored and simultaneously increases insulin production.
Gastric glands : They show presence of mucosa, and HCl. They are present in the inner lining of the stomach.

Hence, the correct answer is option (A)

Note: Mucosa also produce glands in the stomach and crypts in between the bases of villi in the intestine particularly termed as crypts of lieberkuhn. Paneth cells are located in the mucosa of Crypts of Lieberkuhn. The major role of these Paneth cells is to synthesise antibacterial lysozyme which further kills bacteria.
