Pervez Musharraf was born on the date of 11 August 1943 and is a Pakistani politician as well as a retired four-star general who had become the tenth president of Pakistan after the successful military takeover of the federal government in the year 1999. He had held the presidency from the year of 2001 until 2008, when he had tendered his resignation in order to avoid impeachment.

Pakistan under General Parvez Musharraf was not called a democracy since the rulers had not been elected by the people.
