Hint: When we visit a tailoring shop we observe various kinds of fabrics which may be of wool silk cotton or any other material the interesting thing which we learn from observing this thing is that from where actually these fibres come from .

Complete step by step answer:
Fibres are fine thread-like structures which are thin , long and flexible . Fibres are used to prepare different types of clothes , they are spun into yarn and then woven into fabric .
The main sources of fibres are plants and animals but today man made fibres are also widely used .
There are many kinds of fibres but broadly they are classified into two categories , which are :
- Natural fibres - They are the fibres which are obtained from both plants and animals , they are hair like raw material and can be obtained from various plants and animals .They can be further classified as plant ,mineral and animal fibres . For example - cotton , cellulose .
-Synthetic fibre - Synthetic fibres are made fibres which are synthesized in the laboratories from chemicals instead of directly deriving from living organisms . They are a long chain of small units joined together . For example - nylon , rayon.

Note: Although synthetic fibres are cheaper than natural fibres we should use them carefully as they are not environmentally friendly . They may take years to degenerate hence we should find ways to enjoy their good qualities and at the same time try to minimize the environmental hazards .
