Hint: From the figure, calculate the number of girls in each class. Then, multiply by 4. Then, find which class has the minimum number of girl students. Compare the number of girls in class VI and class V.

Complete step-by-step answer:
In the question, a pictograph is given. Using that pictograph we can find the number of girls in each class.
According to the pictograph,
In class I, we have 6 girls and 1 girl in pictograph represents four girls.
So, the number of girls in class I =$6\times 4= 24$ …………………….(1)
In class II, we have 4.5 girls and 1 girl in pictograph represents four girls.
So, the number of girls in class II =$4.5\times 4= 18 $…………………….(2)
In class III, we have 5 girls and 1 girl in pictograph represents four girls.
So, the number of girls in class III =$5\times 4= 20$ …………………….(3)
In class IV, we have 3.5 girls and 1 girl in pictograph represents four girls.
So, the number of girls in class IV =$3.5\times 4= 14 $…………………….(4)
In class V, we have 2.5 girls and 1 girl in pictograph represents four girls.
So, the number of girls in class V =$2.5\times 4= 10$ …………………….(5)
In class VI, we have 4 girls and 1 girl in pictograph represents four girls.
So, the number of girls in class VI =$4\times 4= 16 $…………………….(6)
In class VII, we have 3 girls and 1 girl in pictograph represents four girls.
So, the number of girls in class VII =$3\times 4= 12 $…………………….(7)
In class VIII, we have 1.5 girls and 1 girl in pictograph represents four girls.
So, the number of girls in class VIII = $1.5\times 4= 6$ …………………….(8)
(a) From equation (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), and (8), we can see that class VIII has the lowest number of girls.
(b) From equation (5) and equation (6), we have,
In class VI, we have 16 girls and in-class V we have 10 girls. So, the number of girls in class VI is not less than the number of girls in class V.
(c) From equation (7), we have 12 girls in class VII.

Note: In this question, we can simply count the number of girls using the pictograph and can ignore to multiply by 4 which is wrong. Because one girl in pictograph represents four girls of a particular class. This question might seem very easy and so chances of committing a silly mistake in a hurry to complete the question is very common, so it must be taken care of.
