Hint: To obtain the total amount of bill after the GST is added to it we will use the GST formula on the selling price. Firstly we will make a table of all the values given to us. Then we will find the selling price of each quantity by using a discount formula and form a table of it as well. Then we will find the GST on each selling price and make a column of it also. Finally we will add the value in the selling price column and GST column and add both of them to get the desired answer.

Complete step by step solution:
It is given that National Trading Company, Meerut (UP) made the supply of the following goods/services to Samarth Traders, Noida (UP).
So we will make three columns of the values given as follows:
Quantity (no. of pieces)MRP (in Rs. Per piece)Discount $\%$
2022540
2032030
1230050
4025040

So firstly we will calculate the Market price for all pieces by multiplying value in column 1 and 2 as follows:
Quantity (no. of pieces)MRP (in Rs. Per piece)Discount $\%$Market Price
2022540$20\times 225=4500$
2032030$20\times 320=9600$
1230050$12\times 300=3600$
4025040$40\times 250=10000$

As we know that Discount is always calculated in the Selling Price we will find the value of Selling price first.
So to get the value of selling price we will use discount formula which is given as:
Selling Price $=$ Market Price $\times \left( \dfrac{100-discount\%}{100} \right)$
So we get the selling price as follows:
Quantity (no. of pieces)MRP (in Rs. Per piece)Discount $\%$Market PriceSelling Price (S.P)
20225404500$4500\times \left( \dfrac{100-40}{100} \right)=2700$
20320309600$9600\times \left( \dfrac{10-30}{100} \right)=6720$
12300503600$3600\times \left( \dfrac{100-50}{100} \right)=1800$
402504010000$10000\times \left( \dfrac{100-40}{100} \right)=6000$

Next we will calculate the GST by using the formula below:
$GST=\dfrac{\left( S.P\times GST\% \right)}{100}$
$GST\%=12\%$
So we get GST amount as below:
Quantity (no. of pieces)MRP (in Rs. Per piece)Discount $\%$Market PriceSelling Price (S.P)GST
202254045002700$\dfrac{2700\times 12}{100}=324$
203203096006720$\dfrac{6720\times 12}{100}=806.4$
123005036001800 \[\dfrac{1800\times 12}{100}=216\]
4025040100006000$\dfrac{6000\times 12}{100}=720$

Now we will add the value in column (5) and (6) as below:
Quantity (no. of pieces)MRP (in Rs. Per piece)Discount $\%$Market PriceSelling Price (S.P)GST
202254045002700324
203203096006720$806.4$
123005036001800216
4025040100006000720
Total172202066.4

Thu the amount of bill = Selling Price $+$ Total GST
Total amount of bill $=17220+2066.4$
Total amount of bill $=Rs.19,286.4$

Hence total amount of bill if the rate of GST $=12\%$ is $RS.19,286.4$

Note:
GST also known as Goods and Service Tax is a value added Tax which is the comprehensive indirect tax levy on manufacturer, sale and the consumption of goods as well as services at the national level. It is calculated on the Selling Price of any goods or item and is fixed for each particular item.
