Hint: There are different types of techniques such as evaporation in which the volatile particles get evaporated on heating and the non volatile remains back. The other technique is sublimation in which the substance is directly changed into gaseous state from solid state without converting into liquid.

Complete answer:
The technique used to separate camphor from salt is sublimation. In this camphor is a sublimable volatile. The word sublimable means that any solid substance can be sublimed if its temperature and the pressure both are below its triple point. The triple point refers to the temperature and the pressure at which the substance is at equilibrium with its solid state, liquid state and its gaseous state. Sublimation is the process or the technique used in a laboratory to separate the impurity from the substance and obtain its pure form. Sublimation is used to separate the volatile solid from the non sublimable impurity. The word non sublimable impurity means the impurity which cannot be sublime, that is which cannot be converted to gaseous state directly without converting to liquid state. The process for separating by sublimation is the following:
Heat the mixture in the china dish on the Bunsen burner. Then take the glass funnel and put it over the china dish to collect the fumes of the sublimating substance. Now take the spatula and take the sublimable substance from the glass funnel which is stuck in it. Now put it in the watch glass. The crystals of the camphor will be formed on cooling.

Note: The precautions that should be taken on separating camphor from salt aere
-Always heat the china dish on wire gauze
-Separate the sublimate substance from the mixture first.
-Plue the opening of the glass funnel with cotton so that fumes of the substance do not come out from it.
