Complete answer: A literary movement began at the Aligarh Muslim University aimed at the expansion of Muslim education, which led to the inception of Muslim League and All India-Muslim league was formed in Dhaka ( now in Bangladesh) On 30th December in 1906 after the death of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, an Islamic reformer. Nawab Salimullah, the fourth Nawab of Dhaka, presided over its session at Dhaka, for the purpose of protecting the interest of Indian Muslims.
The all India Muslim League under the leadership of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan is considered as the pioneer Muslim nationalism in India, where they sought a space for themselves separate from Indian nationalists and the Hindus, who supported the Indian National Congress. Muslim league then espoused a two-nation theory, by demanding a separate nation of Pakistan, which was created out of provinces of British India, the west of Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.
