Hint: Biogas is formed by the bioconversion of the agricultural residues, waste from the industries and animal excreta into energy. Methane is produced when the animal dung is processed. Methane is highly combustible and so biogas finds its best use as a fuel.

Complete answer:
To solve the given question, we must be aware of the biogas.
Biogas is formed by the anaerobic fermentation of animal dung, especially, cow dung. Biogas provides us with the best alternative to the fossil fuels from which LPG and other fuels are obtained.
Biogas is a renewable source of energy and can be used without the fear of getting depleted. It can be replenished in nature.
A mixture of biogas consists of 50-70% methane which is its main constituent, 30-40% of carbon dioxide and 1% H2S. It also contains traces of hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide.
The biogas production takes place in 3 steps:
> The polymers are broken down into monomers with the help of facultative anaerobes. This takes place as a result of enzymatic hydrolysis.
> The second step involves the conversion of these monomers into the organic acids by the activity of microbes.
> Finally, the methanogenic bacteria convert these organic acids into methane gas.

Since now we are aware of the biogas, therefore the correct answer to the question is option A . i.e Carbon Dioxide, Nitrogen and methane.

Note: Here it must be noted that Biogas was discovered in India with the combined efforts of Indian Agricultural Research Institute and Khadi and Village Industries Commission. The main bacteria used in the biogas production are Methanobacterium, Methanothrix and Methanospirillum. Clostridium and Eubacterium are also used.
