Hint:In this question, we need to write the different properties of the solids. For this, we will follow the basic definition of the solids and write the different physical as well as the chemical properties. To start with explaining basic differences between gas, liquid and solid and go farther with their physical properties.

Complete step by step answer:We differentiate the state of matters on the bases of the interparticle [interatomic/intermolecular] forces. Solids have comparatively strong forces of attraction between the particles. They are closely packed systems with higher densities, which gives them high melting and boiling points. We have a few types of solid naming crystalline solids, ionic solids, metallic solids, amorphous solids etc. Almost all the solids are brittle in nature which implies that when they collide with another solid material then a sound will originate like iron, steel, etc. Some of the solids are ductile in nature which implies that the solids can be elongated and could be mad in different forms like carbon, aluminium, gold, etc. Graphene is the strongest material non and it the lightest solid too, due to its single-layered carbon network it light as a feather and can tolerate term of wait over it

Note: We can also write some extra examples for different types of solids, such as:
Metallic solids: copper, iron, gold etc.
Ionic solid: sodium chloride [common salt} copper sulphide etc.
