Potentiometer is the device that is used to measure the potential difference.
Sensitivity of potential difference can be defined as the smallest potential difference it can measure.
This Sensitivity of potential difference can be increased by increasing the length of the potentiometer wire and also by reducing the current in the circuit using the rheostat.

Note:
The sensitivity of the potentiometer depends upon the value of the potential gradient K. Smaller the value of K smaller the potential difference that a potentiometer can measure and more is the sensitivity of the potentiometer.
