Let us discuss the meaning of collective belongingness.The sense of collective responsibility or belongingness is a feeling of Oneness among People. it is a feeling which binds people together irrespective of differences of opinion colour, Creed, caste religion. The collective feeling is a strong sense of affiliation towards the one country. It is this feeling that drives an individual to transform their thoughts and ideas into a collective action.The example of a Nationalist movement is when people collectively fought against Britishers and freed the country from Colony. During freedom struggle people participated in large numbers against Britishers. To promote nationalism symbols like songs, text,pamphlet ,newspapers were distributed so that a collective feeling of belongingness could develop among citizens. In the present time also people unite to free their Nation from corruption and many such issues.It means that people believe that they are all part of the same Nation.
