Complete Step by Step answer: The dynasty was established by Mauryaverma or as known in some historical texts as Mauryasharma. The Kadamba Dynasty was the first indigenous dynasty to rule Karnataka and to use the Kannada language for official purposes Mauryaverma founded the Kadamba dynasty in 345 CE. Though there are multiple theories explaining the origin of the dynasty, it is a fact that the dynasty became an Imperial power after Mauryaverma defeated the Pallavas of Kanchi. The Kadambas were contemporaries of the Western Ganga Dynasty. The dynasty declined almost 200 years after its inception. The Badami Chalukyas who earlier had served as feudatories of the Kadambas defeated the Kadambas and they were relegated to a position of subordination.

OPTION B - The Pallava dynasty established itself after the decline of the Satvahanas, to whom they served as feudatories. The Pallavas reached the peak of their power under King Mahendravarman I. The Pallavas were engaged in constant conflict with neighbouring kingdoms of Chalukyas, Cholas, Pandyas and Guptas. They suffered defeat at the hands of the Kadamba dynasty following which they became their feudatories.
OPTION C - The Maurya empire was one of the largest empires of ancient India. It was a Kingdom of the Iron Age; its capital was situated initially at Rajgarh and was later shifted to Patliputra (present-day Patna). It was founded by Chandragupta Maurya.
