Hint: As we know that the given organelles play different roles in our body so that the cells inside our body can function properly and can undergo mitotic divisions which give rise to two identical cells. These organelles help in maintaining the structure, shape, cell integrity as well as cell’s mobility.

Complete answer:
As we know that different organelles play different vital roles in our body so that our body can function properly. So let us discuss the function of the given organelles one by one.
First is plasma membrane or the cell membrane. We all know that cell membrane is that biological membrane which separates the inside portion of the cell from the interior of other cells. This membrane also serves as a selectively permeable membrane meaning it only allows some of the essential substances to pass through it and comes out of the cell. And every cell needs it to function properly.
Then comes the cytoskeleton which is found in every cell and helps in maintaining the cell shape and cell mobility as well as provides an anchor for other cellular structures. Thus a cell needs it for moving and structure and shape maintenance purposes. Thus it is also correct.
Then Mitochondria and we are well aware that the mitochondria serves as the energy of cells or the powerhouse of the cell. It is the site for cellular respiration thereby producing ATP molecules that provide energy for performing various metabolic processes. Therefore, it is also an important organelle for proper functioning and division of cells.
Lastly we have plastids which are basically the organelles found in plant cells and help in photosynthesis as well as provide colour to the plants and store food. But these organelles do not help in division of cells, so we can say that cells may divide and function properly in absence of plastids.

Therefore, the correct answer is (D).

Note:
Animal cells are devoid of plastids as it is a feature of plant cells and in plant cells it performs the basic functions of storage of food and photosynthesis. Cells undergo many divisions to produce new cells and degrade the old and unwanted cells so as to help the living organism grow longer.
