Hint: The eight planet and the farthest known planet from the sun in our solar system is Neptune. It is much bigger than our planet and is said to be around 17 times the mass of earth.

Complete answer: 165 years is the time taken by Neptune to complete one orbit around the sun. If we look at the time taken for Neptune to complete one rotation on its axis, it is about 16 hours.
-Let us look at some of the characteristics of Neptune - the fourth largest planet, in our solar system, by diameter, it is the third most massive planet and among the giant planets it is the most dense. It is named after the god of the sea of Roman mythology.
-It is not visible to the unaided eye but it is the only planet whose existence was found out by mathematical prediction rather than by observation. Alexis Bouvard deduced that the orbit of Uranus was subject to perturbation by an unknown planet and after his death the position of Neptune was predicted from his observations.
-Its largest moon is named Triton and it was discovered shortly after Johann Galle observed Neptune with a telescope in the year 1846.
-The only spacecraft to visit it is Voyager 2. Voyager 2 flew by Neptune on 25th August 1989.
-Hydrogen and helium is what primarily make up Neptune’s atmosphere, just like Jupiter and Saturn.

Note: There are 6 faint rings around Neptune and it is one of the two ice giants in the outer solar system. It is called an ice giant because a hot dense fluid of icy materials - water, methane and ammonia - makes up about 80 percent of the planet’s mass.
