The cerebrum of the brain is divided into four lobes, namely:
Frontal lobe
Parietal lobe
Temporal lobe

The frontal lobe is based at the front of both of the cerebral hemispheres. Most of the dopamine delicate neurons of the cerebral cortex are present in the frontal lobe. The frontal lobe controls the voluntary movements of a person. Cognitive skills are also controlled by the frontal lobe.
The parietal lobe is based behind the frontal lobe. The parietal lobe has two functions, sensation and perception and sensory input. The parietal lobe integrates information related to movement, temperature, touch and taste.
The temporal lobe is based below the lateral fissure which separates itself from the frontal and parietal lobes. The function of the temporal lobe is the perception of senses like hearing, touch, smell and taste. It is also associated with memory retention and language comprehension.
The occipital lobe is based behind the temporal and parietal lobes. It is the visual processing area of the brain and is the part of the brain responsible for vision. It perceives distance and depth, color, object and face recognition.

The occipital lobe is associated with visual processing, visuospatial processing and memory formation. The visual cortex transmits information through the dorsal and the ventral stream.
