Hint: ISRO is a National Space Agency founded in the year 1969. ISRO works under the Government Department of Space. It also inaugurated the first Indian Satellite Aryabhata.

Complete Answer:
ISRO stands for the Indian Space Research Organisation. It is also known as the national space agency of the Republic of India with its headquarter in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It was founded by Vikram Sarabai on 15th August 1969. The director of the organisation is Kailasavadivoo Sivan. ISRO comes after its preceding agency which is Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR). INCOSPAR itself was founded by Hon’ble first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru in association with Vikram Sarabai
Some of the significant rockets launched by ISRO are Scramjet engine TD, GSLV, GSLV MK III, PSLV, ASLV, RLV-TD.

Some of the major achievements of ISRO are explained in the below paragraph:
i) Reaching Mars: ISRO landed on Mars successfully at its very first attempt back in 2014. Other than ISRO, only NASA, the European Space Program and the Soviet Space Program are the organisation that has been able to do so.
ii) Launching 104 Satellites together: In Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, IT launched a notable number of satellites altogether belonging to various countries including the United States of America, United Kingdom and Germany
iii) Orbiter mission at Mars: It indeed is a significant accomplishment of ISRO. Back in 2013, ISRO launched its first-ever mars orbiter.
iv) CHANDRAYAN: India’s first mission to Moon by Chandrayaan was made back in 2008.
100th Space Mission: It marked its 100th space mission in the year 2012 by launching PSLV-C21 rocket into orbit.

Hence, Option (A) is the correct answer.

Note: The founder of ISRO i.e. Vikram Sarabhai is also remembered as the Father of India's Space Program. INSAT which is known as the largest communication satellite is also operated by ISRO. India became one of the four countries to successfully reach Mars.
