Hint: Firstly, know the actual meaning of what is latent heat and Regelation. So, here regelation means the phenomenon in which the ice converts to liquid due to applied pressure and then re-converts to ice once the pressure is removed is called Regelation. Whereas, latent heat is the amount of heat released or absorbed by 1 mole of a substance during phase change at a constant temperature. Latent heat is taken in / or given out when a material changes state e.g., solid to liquid or liquid to gas.

Yes, when ice melts, heat is absorbed, but the temperature does not change. Also, when water refreezes, heat is given out, but the temperature does not change. This heat absorbed or given out is the latent heat.

And when the pressure is released, it comes back to its normal position (ice). This is known as Regelation. This happens because of anomalous behavior of water.
