Hint: Light is a source of illumination whether it is natural or an artificial one. Opaque is an object which is neither traperant nor translucent; we cannot see through it as light doesn't pass through it. Combining both we can write the solution to this question.

Complete answer:
Light is an electromagnetic radiation within the portion of the electromagnetic spectrum which is perceived by the human eye. The visible light are those lights which can be detected by our eyes. This visible light is usually defined as having a wavelength in the range of $400 - 700$ nanometers which is in between the infrared and the ultraviolet.
An opaque object is neither transparent or translucent, that is it neither allows all light to pass through it nor does it allow some light to pass through it.
Let us take an example so as to answer this problem clearly,
When a lighted candle flame is placed in a table then we can see that the flame through which light is coming out is opaque and we cannot see through it but when this light spreads aways from the light source then it becomes transparent and we can see through it clearly.
Hence we can say that light will behave as an opaque object when the rays of light are converging or concerered at a point but it will behave as a transparent object when the rays of light are diverging or spread out.

Note:
Light neither completely acts as an opaque or it does not completely act as transparent. It depends on the situation and amount of light present at that point. Note that whether light passes through an opaque object or not is a different concept and whether light itself is opaque or not is a different concept.
