Hint:The number of protons and electrons present in an atom gives the information of the molecular weight of an element. Density is the measure of mass of an atom per volume. The symbol to denote the molecular weight of an element is M.W and density is going to be denoted with ‘d’.

Complete step-by-step answer:- In the question it is asked is density a molecular weight.
- There is a relationship between density and mass of a chemical and it is as follows.
\[d=\frac{m}{V}\]
Here d = density of a chemical
m = mass of a chemical
V = Volume of a chemical
- There is a relationship between mass and molecular weight of a chemical and it is as follows.
Mass of a chemical (m) = (n) (molecular weight)
Here m = mass of a chemical
n = number of moles of a chemical
MW = Molecular weight of a chemical
- Therefore we can write the relationship between molecular weight and density of a chemical as follows.
\[d=\frac{m}{V}
d=\frac{n\times MW}{V}\]
- Therefore by multiplying and dividing the molecular weight with the number of moles and volume respectively we will get the density of a chemical.

Note:From the above relationship we can say that the density and molecular weight of a chemical are directly proportional to each other and the density and volume of a chemical are inversely proportional to each other.
 As the molecular weight of a chemical increases then the density of the chemical increases. As the volume of the chemical decreases then the density of the chemical increases.
