Hint: In an ecosystem, the energy flow starts from the producer’s level and to the consumer level where the amount of energy is decreased from the producer which is the first trophic level to the consumer which is the fourth trophic level.

Step by step answer:The pyramid of energy is a representation of the amount of energy in a food chain at each trophic level. It will never be inverted as the energy that is stored in a source is lost upon transfer. In a food chain of an ecosystem, 10% of the energy is transferred to the next trophic level which is also called the 10% rule of energy transfer. So, if there is 1000000 J of sunlight then in the first trophic level will be having 100000 J and the second trophic level will have 10000 J OF ENERGY while the third trophic level will have 1000 J energy and the fourth trophic level will have only 100 J energy available which is for the tertiary consumers.

Note: The energy flow of the ecosystem is from the producer level to the consumer level which is shown by the pyramid of energy, where the first trophic level is the grass with the highest available energy of 100000 and then in the second is the grasshopper having 1000 energy than the third having decreased energy from the last one the last having the least energy available.
