Hint Hunsgi is a taluka of Yadgir district in Karnataka and it is 48 km southwest of the distinct headquarters.
One late stage of the site of the Old Stone Age, excavated at Hunasagi, contained stone instruments and guns made of reddish-brown chert.

Complete answer:
The Hungsi is located in the northwestern part of Karnataka. The Hungsi is a village and has several early Paleothilic sites. According to the evidence, the number of stone tools and weapons was found which suggested that during the Paleolithic age this village was a habitat as well as a factory for making this equipment. Most of the tools were made up by using limestone which was available locally.

In the Old Stone Age site, the tools and weapons excavated from the village were made from a reddish-brown chert. The tools had longish blades with sharp edges and many multi-purpose instruments. At some sites, large numbers of tools were found which might be used for all sorts of activities which suggested that probably these tools were habitation-cum factory sites and in some other smaller sites suggested that they were just tools made.

Therefore the correct answer is option (B).

Note:
Some of the sites were close to springs and about 15000 stone tools were found in abundance. In Indian history this place is said to be the oldest site where habilitation started about 500000 BC. The site includes Deccan and Pallavaram in Tamil Nadu.
