Hint: Union Council of Ministers are a part of the Executive of India and take part in running the nation by ensuring proper implementation of laws. The Union Council of Ministers is headed by the Prime Minister of India.

Complete step by step answer: The Prime Minister is the leading face of not only the Union of Ministers but also the executive branch in general. The PM can belong to any of the two houses of parliament. The Council of Ministers consists of many ministers. These ministers are referred to as follows:
1.The senior ministers are referred to as “Cabinet Ministers”.
2.The junior ministers are referred to as “Ministers of State” or sometimes even “deputy ministers”.
There is a small executive body which is known as “union cabinet”. This body is considered supreme and takes all the major decisions. According to Article 75 of the Indian constitution, only the Prime Minister along with the Cabinet Ministers can be members of the Union Cabinet. The Union Council of Ministers is directly and collectively responsible to the Lok Sabha.

Note: There are broadly 3 branches of the government. These are- Executive, Legislative and Judiciary. The legislative branch focuses on formulating laws, the executive deals with the implementation of laws and the judiciary secures our rights and resolves conflicts.
