Firstly, in our daily life we walk on the road due to friction. If there was no friction we could not even walk, it would be just like slipping on oil.

Fifthly, frictional force helps to grab everything around us. If it was not present we could not hold anything.

Note: It must be noted that friction does not always help everything. It is a necessary evil. Friction causes the wear and tear of machines. They cause the parts of the machine not to work properly. They just jam the machine, where we need to lower friction by using grease or other lubricants.
