Hint: Lysosome is a membrane- bound cell organelle that contains digestive enzymes that can even digest the cell itself when it’s covering damages and the enzymes come in contact with the cell content.

Complete answer:
If the lysosome gets ruptured or bursts open within a cell then it'll cause autolysis i.e, it'll digest the whole- cell alongside the cell organelles.
Each lysosome is surrounded by a membrane that maintains an acidic environment within the inside via a proton pump. Lysosomes contain a wide variety of hydrolytic enzymes i.e., acid hydrolases that break down macromolecules such as nucleic acids, proteins, and polysaccharides worn- out organelles, food particles, engulfed viruses or bacteria also. During unfavorable conditions, when the lysosome bursts, the lytic enzymes within the organelle splits up all over the cell, this leads to the rupturing of the cell membrane or cell wall and thus resulting in the death of the cell.
- Lysosomes are involved with various cell processes. They break down excess or worn- out cell parts. The invading viruses and bacterias are destroyed by the lysosomes.
- They are found in nearly all types of eukaryotic cells and that is responsible for the digestion of macromolecules, old cell parts, and microorganisms.
- By budding off from the membrane of the Golgi complex, the lysosome originates.
So, the correct answer is '(a) Cell dies'.

Note:
- Within the 1950s the lysosomes were discovered by the Belgian cytologist Christian René de Duve.
- De Duve was awarded a share of the 1974 Nobel prize for Physiology or Medicine for his discovery of lysosomes and other organelles referred to as peroxisomes.
- Hurler syndrome, which involves a defect within the metabolism of mucopolysaccharides, maybe a lysosomal storage disease
