The easiest method is to find the value of intercepts on the coordinate axis which will then give us two points through which our line will pass. The line will then be plotted on a graph using those points by joining those two points and since a line passing through any two given points is unique we will get our line from plotting the graph.

$y = - 2$

$y = 0$
we get
$x = - \dfrac{2}{{1.5}}$
$\Rightarrow x = - \dfrac{4}{3}$
