Hint: In humans, under the skin ( subcutaneous fat), around internal organs (visceral fat), in the bone marrow (yellow bone marrow), in the intermuscular (muscular system) and in the breast (breast tissue), adipose tissue is located. In particular sites, which are referred to as adipose depots, adipose tissue is located.

Complete answer:
Adipose tissue, or body fat, or simple fat, is an anatomical term for loose connective tissue composed mostly of adipocytes. In recent years, adipose tissue has been recognised as a major endocrine organ. Adipose tissue's main function is to store energy in the form of fat, although the body is often cushioned and insulated. In mammals, two types of adipose tissues exist: white adipose tissue (WAT) and brown adipose tissue (BAT), which generates body heat. Fatty tissue functions present under the skin are: fatty tissues store energy in the form of fats, absorb shock, insulate the body to sustain it around organs, it provides protective padding. It also functions as a reserve of nutrients. Adipose tissue depots in different parts of the body which have different biochemical profiles. Under normal conditions, which provides feedback for hunger and diet to the brain.

Additional information:
Men are more likely to have fat stored in the abdomen due to sex hormone differences. The female sex hormone triggers the storage of fat in women's buttocks, thighs, and hips. When women reach menopause and then, fats migrate from the buttocks, hips and thighs to the waist, later fat is stored in the abdomen.

Note: In animals, including humans, obesity does not depend on the amount of body weight, but on the quantity of body fat, especially adipose tissue. In the integumentary system, which includes the skin, it accumulates in the deepest level, the subcutaneous layer, providing insulation from heat and cold.
