Liquid is a substance that flows freely but is of constant volume, having a consistency like that of water or oil or we can say that the liquid is a nearly incompressible fluid that conforms to the shape of its container but retains a constant volume independent of the pressure. As such, it is one of the four fundamental states of matter and is the only state with a definite volume but no fixed shape.

Now all elements at the periodic table are not at liquid state.
There are very less elements that are liquid. Some of them are liquid above the particular temperature that is not the standard temperature.
So, we can say those elements as liquid elements because liquid elements are at liquid state at standard temperature and pressure that is 273.15 K and 1 atm.

So, the metal which is a liquid at standard temperature will be Mercury (Hg).
And the non-metal which is liquid at standard temperature is Bromine (Br).

Hence, the liquid elements are mercury(Hg) and bromine(Br).

Note:- Whenever we come up with this type of problem we should remember that there are some other elements like gallium, indium, argon and helium which are at liquid state above particular temperature but we cannot say that they are liquid elements because these elements are not at liquid state at standard temperature i.e. 273.15 K and there is only one non-metal which is liquid and that is bromine and there is only one metal which is liquid and that is mercury.
