Hint:
As we know day by day the population is increasing. So our demands for things are increasing. To fulfil the demand we have to increase supply. This is the simplest rule of demand & supply. To increase supply we need more and more numbers of raw material.
Complete solution:
Because of some human activities, environmental issues are increasing very rapidly. Some major issues are climate change, pollution, environmental degradation, and resource depletion. These issues are handled by regional, national, or international level government organizations. One of the major environmental concerns is quarrying. A quarry is a type of open-pit mine in which rock, construction aggregate, sand, gravel, or slate is dug out from the ground. There are many types of rock that are taken out of the querries. Methods of quarrying are digging, heating, wedging, and blasting. There are many reasons that are why Quarrying can be a major environmental concern. Reasons are listed below:
1) Very small dust particles that spread in the air around quarrying sites cause air pollution and inhaling problems.
2) It creates noise pollution due to the heavy machinery and the blasts to break huge rocks.
3)Also Blasting generates vibration which may harm the nearby buildings.
4)Ruin the natural vegetation and destroy the natural home for plants and animals.
Note:
Not only quarrying is a major environmental issue. Others are climate change, biodiversity loss, food waste, plastic pollution, deforestation, etc. To fight with those environmental concerns we have to cut down the use of paper. Save electricity & water. The foremost approach is to apply 4R’s system: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Recover.
