Hint: Biodiversity is the variety of living organisms present on the earth. Biodiversity helps in sustaining the ecosystem. The various living beings present in different habitat helps in supplying oxygen.

Complete answer:
The living organisms are of various types and are adapted to the type of environment or habitat that they live in. Some organisms can withstand high temperatures whereas some prefer to live in extreme cold. Let us see the different organisms with respect to different living conditions.

a) Red algae- Rhodophyte are the oldest group of the eukaryotic algae. It consists of the largest algae phyla about 7,000 currently recognised species. It can tolerate a wide range of temperature.
b) Thermus aquaticus - it is used in the amplification of the gene of interest using PCR. Repeated amplification is achieved by the use of a thermostable. DNA polymerase that is isolated from the bacteria Thermus acquaticus which remain active during high temperature-induced denaturation of double-stranded DNA.
c) Sea cucumbers- It is an echinoderm that is marine animals with leathery skin and an elongated body containing a single, branched gonad. They are found on the seafloor worldwide.
d) Earthworm - they are terrestial invertebrate that inhabits the upper layer of the moist soil. During the daytime, they live in burrows made by burrowing and swallowing the soil. In the garden, they can be traced by their facial deposits known as warm casting.
e) Cuscuta reflexa- They also called giant dodder which is very common in the greater Himalayas. This parasitic plant species is a leafless twined sprawling thin vine that grows over a host plant.
f) Conifers - they are gymnosperms that contain needle-like leaves that helps to reduce the surface area. Their cuticle is thick and has sunken stomata which helps to reduce the water loss.
g) earthworm-The common Indian earthworms are Pheritima and Lumbricus that are found in the soil. They help the farmers because they make burrows in the soil and makes it porous which helps in respiration and penetration of the developing plant’s roots.
h) Crabs and sponges- these organisms are those that are found in a benthic zone which is the lowest zone in the sea. This community lives in or near marine or freshwater sedimentary environments. These are sometimes also called benthos.
i) Antifreeze glycoproteins- they are biological antifreeze that is found in polar fish. this protein combines to eyes subsequently inhibit the growth of ice crystals.
j) Frog- they live in both land and freshwater. In this species you not have constant body temperature and are cold-blooded.

Note: All these are examples that are common and we must have heard or have seen them in day to day life. Earthworm and frogs are the species that are found normally in our environment. Conifers are found in a hilly area. Thermus aquatics cannot be seen naked as it is a bacterium. The species like sponges and sea cucumber might have not been seen by many people as it is found deep inside the oceans and sea.
