Why is it generally advised that every living room in the house should have direct sunlight at least for a short time?

Hint: Sunlight is very important for as for nutritional as well as behavioural perspective.
Step by step answer: In our houses the living room is the area where we spend most of the time we live there and do all our activities in our living room. So, for a healthy life, we should have a healthy living room. If the living room is neat and clean free from infectious diseases causing bacteria then we will also free from these diseases causing bacteria and diseases. The sunlight availability should be proper in the room then it will kill all the microorganisms in the room.
